Notes
The Warwick Canal Boat Register was begun in 1879 but is incomplete. A reconstruction has been attempted based partly on the entries in a receipt book copied by the late Philip Weaver and partly on further research in various inspection registers by Christopher M. Jones. The names of over a dozen of the earliest boats have not been found and in view of this lack of detail they have not been included.

Key
(m) motor boat
(s) steamer
*The early boats in this list would not have been registered – so they have been sourced from various gauging registers; these are marked by an asterisk in the Registration number column.
++The registration relates to the previous owner.
